A note from Lisa

Hello! I’m Lisa for those who haven’t met me yet and I run this local service in Springwood, Blue Mountians.
My lovely cousin and Melbourne watercolour artist @angemccann captured this pic of me yesterday doing something I most love: enaging with kids in small groups. We’ve just finished two weeks of unique kids holiday workshops in the #bluemountains 🌟
.
For five years or more I ran a tuition service empowering kids to read and write through creativity, many having learning challenges and needed a service that was relationally built, engaged the family and enhanced the child’s learning goals.
As a teacher with a background in occupational therapy specialising in kids with ‘special giftedness’ aka neurodiverse I’ve always loved finding ways to engage these kids and provide opportunities for them to reach their goals.
Late 2019 I began to teach creativity lessons using the medium of #polymerclay and now its beautifully morphing into a beautiful mix of creative kids groups specifically for kids of all backgrounds to come and connect, get off their screens, make friends, learn new skills, discover emerging talent and begin to deal with issues and social battles in real time.
.
Keep an eye out for the unique kids groups that will be happening this year and feel free to connect if you’re keen to have a chat about your child
.
Our service is here to help families with the challenges our communities are facing these days and we believe in the reality of taking a village to raise a healthy child 🌈🎨🤸‍♀️✏️❤️
